I’m Back to Blogging & Monday Motivation

life-update-2

I’ve had a false start a couple of times, but I promise I’m actually back to blogging for good this time! And my blog’s got a new look!

I fell somewhat into a blogging rut early last year and then fell into a reading rut shortly thereafter. I had a couple false starts trying to get back into things, but I’ve truly missed blogging and am starting the new year back on track.

For those of you I do know, I can’t wait to reconnect, and for everyone new to my site, I can’t wait to get to know you and check out your amazing blogs!

To reintroduce myself — My name is Lindsey Paradis (pronounced paradise, hence my blog name!) and I’m a twenty-year-old book lover living in Boston. I may or may not have a coffee problem, love myself some show tunes and  SVU and am obsessed with puppies and hedgehogs.

Something I love to do here on my blog every Monday is share one of my favorite quotes from a book I’m into at the time to give some extra motivation. My first quote back to blogging is from Melissa de la Cruz’s Something in Between. Let me know what you need motivation for this week in the comments!

something

“Even though you can’t control the things that happen to you, you can control your perspective and your actions. There’s never a moment you can’t choose who you want to be.”

Hi! I'm Lindsey, a 20-something book lover living in the Boston area. I have an affinity for YA fiction and and a serious SVU addiction. Hit me up with a book recommendation and it might just become my next obsession. I'm glad to have you on the site and hope you enjoy my future posts.
