My Return to Blogging TBR

Hey all! As I mentioned earlier today, I’m returning to blogging after an unexpected six months hiatus (yes that’s six months!) I haven’t really been blogging or part of the community for a while now, and I find myself a bit behind on new releases and some of the books I was super excited about this year.

So, as a journey back into the YA world, these are the books I first want to tackle. Let me know your thoughts (and any recs on books I’ve missed and HAVE to read) in the comments!

The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton

I was interested in this book as soon as it was announced, who wouldn’t the cover is gorgeous. But what really turned me onto it is my coworker read it and absolutely LOVED it. She couldn’t stop raving. I actually went to an author event where I got the book, met Dhonielle, and heard her speak. And she’ll be at the Boston Teen Author Festival in September, so I hope to finish this before that.

Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings

I met Sasha at the same event as I met Dhonielle and she was super nice (she actually went to my school Emerson for about a year and we discussed that and writing). I’m excited to dig into this one because I feel like it’s out of my norm genre.

Dance of Thieves by Mary E Pearson

The Remnant Chronicles series by Mary is one of my favorite series of all time. End of story. So, I’m super excited for a new release from her, especially since it’s in the same world. Will be ordering this one ASAP.

Tower of Dawn by Sara J. Maas

The FINAL book is finally almost here. I haven’t even been reading this series from the beginning, I think the first four or five books were out when I started, but I still feel like I’ve been waiting for ever. I obvs need to get to this one first.

Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston

I was so excited about this book at the beginning of the year. I mean Ashley’s Geekerella was absolutely fabulous and this is supposed to be Anastasia (one of my favorite princesses) in space.

Save the Date by Morgan Matson

Morgan is fantastic and I love all her books. I actually got to meet her at the tour for this and she was so so sweet. This is about weddings and one of my best friends is getting married in November, so this sounds like the perfect prep book.

Let me know what you think of any of these books in the comments!
