Top Five Wednesdays started on Goodreads back in 2013. At the beginning of every month Sam from ThoughtsOnTomes posts a topic for each Wednesday and bloggers, vloggers and overall book fans are encouraged to respond with their top five.
This week is top five favorite M/M couples. I haven’t read a lot of books with gay couples, just a couple, and one of my goals is to read more; with that I have a list and that’s what I’ve included in this post. Let me know some of your favorite M/M couple recommendations in the comments!
1. Simon vs. the Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Abertalli
I’ve heard only good things about this baby and with the movie coming out (the trailers look absolutely amazing) I want to pick it up ASAP.
2. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz
This has been on my list for FOREVER. I know based on what everyone has said it’s going to be great, but I just haven’t been in the mood yet. I’m very bad at forcing myself to read certain things and TBRs.
3. They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
I need to finally understand the beautiful-ness that is Adam Silvera’s writing. I actually met him and have a signed copy of this book from the Boston Teen Author Festival, so hopefully that’s some motivation.
4. Cary On by Rainbow Rowell
Fangirl was perfect, and I loved the little teasers of Carry On and Baz and Simon’s story, I can’t believe that we’ve actually gotten a full novel from it.
5. The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee
This book got so much hype this past year, and I know I absolutely need to stop staring at it on my shelf and actually read it.
