The Fall Time, Cozy Time Book Tag

I’m a summer gal, but I will admit, even I’m not immune to the charms of fall. In my home area—Western Massachusetts—it’s truly a season like no other, just breathtaking. There is tons of foliage, farm stands, and crisp autumn air. And I just love the activities—pumpkin carving/painting, apple picking, hayrides, fairs—as well as the food—hot apple cider, caramel apples, apple pie, cider doughnuts (just lot’s of apples really). Anyway, since I enjoy the season so much (and it’s quickly approaching) I thought I’d do this fun and cozy book tag.

I honestly just Googled “fall book tags,” so no one tagged me and not totally sure of the original author to credit (if you know, tell me in the comments!). Thanks!

Crunching Leaves: the world is full of color choose a book that had reds/oranges/yellows on the cover

The cover of this book is so gorgeous and just screams fall to me. I love the yellow and orange combo. I think I’ll just have to pick this up as one of my seasonal reads.

Cozy Sweater: it’s finally cold enough to don warm cozy clothing, what book gives you the warm fuzzies?

The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series always gets me warm and fuzzy. Peter and Lara Jean are just so darn cute and do so many cute things that it warms my soul.

Fall Storm: the wind is howling and the rain is pounding, choose your favorite book or genre that you like to read on a stormy day

I’m going to pick The Princess Bride. It is one of my favorite stories, both in book and movie form, out there. I’ve only partly read the book, but the movie is my go-to when it’s icky out or when I need a pick-me-up, so I feel like the book will do the same.

Cool Crisp Air: what’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?

This is hard, there are so many wonderful characters and ladies out there. I’m thinking maybe Feyre from ACOTAR, mainly because I’d love to live in the fae world/in the Night Court.

Hot Apple Cider: what under hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?

I really loved the Everlife series and feel like it’s undeservedly underhyped, even by myself on my blog. It definitely deserves more love and reads from everyone out there. The concept of getting to choose out of two worlds where you go when you die is cool enough itself, but a whole other layer is added thanks to the fabulous characters.

Coat, Scarves, and Mittens : the weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up, what’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?

I don’t have a book cover I’d say I’m embarrassed of per say. I guess really any new adult novel I read; I wouldn’t want to have someone see the cover. They’re usually shirtless guys and then people would kind of judge what I’m reading I feel like, which is why I typically stay with the e-book form for those.

Pumpkin Spice: What’s your favorite fall time comforts food/foods?

I consume hot apple cider like it’s my job when it’s fall. I just love sitting in bed with a nice warm mug in my hands, it’s something I look forward to as soon as summer starts to end and everyone else is breaking out their pumpkin spice (yuck, pumpkin).

Warm, Cozy Bonfire: spread the cozy warmth, who do you tag?

Feel free to do this if you want, if you don’t, don’t. If I haven’t tagged you still participate if you’re interested, and make sure to tag me so I can read your post!

  1. This is a perfect tag! I’ve been in a crazy autumn mood lately, and that is super weird considering that we still have 30 degrees during the day and people still go to the beach to enjoy the last summer days. Summer in Portugal is very looooong!

But all I’ve been able to think about is rain, yellow leaves (that we never get) and cosy evenings with candles and books.

Thank you so much for tagging me ❤
