This or That Thursday: Challenge #85 Current Reads

Every week the Bookmark Chronicles poses a bookish question. If you want to check out the challenge click the link.

THIS WEEK IS: Would you recommend the book that you are currently reading? (Or the one that you most recently finished if you haven’t picked up a new one).Let me know what it is and why or why not.

I just finished Firstlife and Lifeblood by Gena Showalter—the first two books in the Everlife trilogy. I will be posting a review for both soon hopefully but just to some it up, I would totally recommend them. The series takes place in this world where we live two lives and you have to choose between two different worlds in your second spirit life. They try to recruit people and are trying extra hard to recruit our protagonist—Ten.

I got so into this series I just don’t even know. I so suggest it. Everything about the world is so unique. And I loved all of the characters. We get Ten—our protagonist. And these two wonderful boys—both from opposing everlife groups and trying to recruit her. The dynamic was just great and I totally found a new book boyfriend.

what books are you currently reading? would you recommend them? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS!

I’m reading a few books currently, but one ARC I’m in the middle of is “I Believe in a Thing Called Love,” by Maurene Goo. It’s fashioned after K-drama narratives and it’s definitely been a wild ride for a number of reasons so far. Its entertaining enough that I’d definitely recommend it.
